Hubs…
One of the biggest revolutions of our school was the introduction of hubs. This was the brainchild of Bek Galloway. The hubs are linked to our progressions and allow students to work more independently, at their own pace. They provide major efficiencies and enhanced collaboration for teachers too. Ours is not a resource that you can buy. But… we can help you create your own hubs and can walk you through how to successfully implement them.
You benefit from our eight years of experience: fast tracking progress across your school.

Sites…
Having a class site is not a new initiative but it’s so effective. It provides a “one stop shop” for your students, parents, relievers, management to go to to find out what’s happening in your class.
Link a calendar to your home page so parents know about events that are coming up in the term.
Post your rotations and link to activities: relievers can find your plans easily and students learn to manage themselves during the day.
Use an unpublished site which contains links to your planning – no more clicking through folders to find your term 4 literacy plan.
Make your site viewable to only the users that need it, maintaining privacy.
Here’s a simple screen shot of our class site. Be creative! Make it fun!
